Scotcheroos

  • 6 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cut KARO light corn syrup
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 cup melted chocolate chips
  • 1 cup melted butterscotch chips

Pour the rice krispies into a mixing bowl, and drop the 1 cup of peanut butter in. Then, on the stove, bring the corn syrup to a boil and mix in the sugar.

Once the sugar is mixed in, pour the corn syrup over the top of the peanut butter and rice krispies. Mix that together. Pour that into a pan and spread out.

Melt together the chocolate and butterscotch chips in the microwave – I usually go 45 seconds at a time and mix in between – then spread them across the top of the pan! Let cool, cut, and serve
