Central Man's Good Deed Gets Him National Championship Tickets!

While thousands of LSU fans are searching for National Championship tickets, the re-sellers have kicked it up a couple of gears to help them. Or scam them. Or steal identities. Which leads to one of my Facebook friends, who threw the penalty flag for targeting another's identity. After further review, this scammer from Arkansas was ejected ... right into jail.

The guy that blew the whistle was Kevin; a Central family man who married one of my bonus daughter's best friends. But that's not the reason I'm sharing. You see, Kevin never really thought of himself as a guy who would get involved like this. But, he saw a crime being committed where someone was getting hurt financially. This was a victim Kevin had never met, living thousands of miles away. But, he knew he SHOULD get involved. And he did, without any consideration for any reward.

Kevin told the victim he didn't want anything. Just pay it forward to someone else. Kevin joked that tickets would be nice, Then BAM-- he got the ultimate Tiger fan gift from this businessman. National Championship tickets to watch the LSU-Clemson game.

So taken by the story line, NBC Local 33 picked the story I blogged about yesterday. The video is below.

My take away from this feel good story? Kevin is a guy that may not be able to change a crooked world. But he a did a very good thing to change his own little corner of it.
