Turns out kids can get a benefit from watching TV. Certain TV shows of course. They are more likely to snack on an apple or carrot instead of chips after watching a healthy cooking TV show. A new study found children aged 10 to 12, when left to choose from a tray of snacks, chose differently depending on what cooking show or food commercials they watched.
