It's supposed to be the most wonderful time of year but still for some it can be a depressing time of year. Of course seeing your doctor is a great place to start. But thanks to a new study there is some good news and bad news regarding the holiday blues.
The good news is that according to a study something we are ingesting a lot around this time of year could be what is triggering that depression!
The bad news...it's sugar! Yep all those delicious treats that are everywhere this time of year may make you feel good at first, but you’ll end up feeling worse in the long run. Oh and that includes alcohol!
Good news, depending on your state of depression, if it is mild, you may only have to reduce that sugar intake. Of course checking with a doctor is best!
