Cucumbers are for than salads!

The benefits of CUCUMBERS are being touted by folks in Australia for fighting cellulite, stopping hangovers and cleaning your shoes!

Live Science claims we can get potassium, fiber, vitamin C and B from eating them. They are best thing to eat as a good pick-me-up around 3pm. 

As for our skin, they recommend rubbing a slice or two on our problem areas for a few minutes before heading out the door. The cucumber phytochemicals cause the collagen in our skin to tighten. That firms up the outer layer and reducing the visibility of cellulite. It supposedly also works on facial wrinkles!

Hangover cure is found when you eat a few slices before going to bed. You should wake up headache free!

Last minute shoe polish can be achieved by rubbing a freshly cut cucumber over your shoe. It should provide a durable shine that not only improves the look of your footwear but also repels water. They do caution that it is not too great for serious scuff marks though.
