Meet The Newest K-9 Trooper-With A DIFFERENT Kind Of Nose

Louisiana State Police has a furry new trooper on the force. According to the state's law enforcement division, Trooper Steven Bunch and his partner Yari just finished a six-week explosives detective course in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and have officially joined the ranks of the Louisiana State Police.
“Yari” is a 2-year-old German Shepherd born in the Netherlands, and now has been trained to detect explosives odors. Yari will use his skills to help protect the citizens of#Louisiana. This four-legged addition to the force will work with Trooper Bunch in the Louisiana State Police Emergency Services Unit, where he serves as a Technician.
