It's Official: TOM HANKS Will Play Mr. Rogers In Movie

Tom Hanks is playing Mister Rogers in the upcoming You Are My Friend movie! 

Thursday, Sony released a photo on Tom Hank dressed as Mister Rogers and he looks perfect! From his sweater, khaki pants, blue laced shoes, completed with a perfectly parted hair, we're so ready for his wisdom and positive energy! 

Set to hit theaters on October 18, 2019, the film is inspired on "the real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and award-winning journalist Tom Junod."

The last time we saw Mister Rogers was back in 2001 when his long-running show came to an end. Now is the perfect time to bring back nostalgia into our lives!
