How close are you will to be to a stranger in order to save money on a flight? The standing-up airplane stalls that will allow airlines to squeeze in even more passengers are in the works. An Italian manufacturer has unveiled seating so upright that passengers using it will be standing up. Should any carriers install it, the design will enable carriers to fit 20% more people in and drop their personal space to 23 inches! Um, this isn't going to work well for tall people...
