How sugar is aging and damaging our faces


According to experts...When we eat lots of sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, and refined carbohydrates like white rice, bread and pasta, the levels of blood sugar in the body become high. As a result, the sugar molecules permanently bond to proteins, including the collagen in our skin. This then produces a chemical reaction in the skin that makes it more stiff and inflexible. That leads to premature ageing. To retain our youthful appearance we should eat more beans, green leafy vegetables, asparagus, nuts, olives, apples and pears.
