Vegetables aren't just good for kids!
Broccoli, cauliflower and Brussel sprouts have been found to reduce the risk of stroke. Eating three or more portions a day leads to much healthier blood vessels. Those vegetables, as well as kale and sprouts, are particularly beneficial. Eating them helps make a major artery in the neck thinner. Thick arteries suggests they contain fatty deposits and that raises blood pressure. So far the study was only carried out in women but it is expected to have the same results for men.
