A fitness expert has come up with the top DESK EXERCISES with squats, lunges, triceps dips, push-ups and yes, PLANKS! (Note the picture--We had a bit of a debate about the planks and decided a modified version would be more acceptable at the office.) The expert recommends once an hour for say five minutes we try walking around a bit and preforming the exercises. He adds at the very least, 3 times a day, we should take a moment to stretch. He suggests doing a standing hip flexor stretch or hamstring stretches with a foot on a chair. Arm stretches and a chest stretch, (twisting at your doorway as shown) can be done rather easily.
