How we hug can tell you how meaning full the embraces is…which way do you lean?
A German research team has found when we swing to the left in a hug it is a more heart-felt hug. However, analyzing hugs with strangers, they found most veered to the right.
It all boils down to our brain hemispheres, they said: the right side of the brain control emotions and the left side of the body, meaning a strong emotion drives us in that direction. When we lean right it is more of an automatic thoughtless motion.
