Vitamin D, also known a the 'sunshine supplement', according to a new study returns sufferers' of IBS to normal.  Irritable bowel syndrome has previously been linked to depression and anxiety. The theory behind the benefits of Vitamin D is that it is an anti-inflammatory, which may ease discomfort from IBS and that helps boost their mood. While dairy has vitamin d, for many, that is not an option.
