WATCH! Drew Brees Is THROWING Again! And The Saints Are MARCHING!

I saw the tweet from Drew Bress last night. In case you didn't it's posted below. I loved the video AND the post. "SHHHHH" Encouraging to be sure, but it's still weeks away from being able to grip a football hard enough to throw bombs downfield.

There's great and cautious news. First the great news. Backup Teddy Bridgewater tore it UP against the Bucs Sunday, torching Tampa Bay with over 300 yards and 4 touchdown passes. Now the cautious news. Drew wants to suit up for the Arizona Cardinals game October 27th. It may be he's back in the line-up then, but probably not a starter. The more likely start will happen in the game against the Dirty Birds November 10th following a bye week.

One thing's for certain. With the Saints sitting at 4-1 right now, there's less pressure to get him out there sooner than safer.

I think we'd all sleep better if he waited until he's 100%. We've already got enough wins in the tank for a Super Bowl run, and the "Bridge over Winning Waters" is doing an awesome job, so take it slow and easy, Drew. Your spot will still be there. And yesterday's tweet from you was impressive!
