SEE IT: The Walker Police Warning Against Skinny-Dipping Goes Viral
Just in case outdoor swimming is on your "how-to-beat-the-heat" list, Walker Police decided to get proactive and creative to make sure you pick your spots carefully. For anyone who wishes to take a dip in the pond at Hutchinson Park, they strongly suggest you choose another destination. With good reason.
In a Facebook post on Friday-which has since gone viral--the Walker Police Department wrote swimming in that pond could be a law-breaking act. But there's also a bigger potential danger lurking. Two words. Snapping Turtles. Clearly, this was a warning with a bit of biting satire.
It doesn't take a lot of imagination to communicate the consequences. By the way, no one has actually been “arrested, caught, accused, suspected or seen skinny dipping” at the park, according to Walker Police. Totally understandable.
