WATCH-Storm Or No Storm-Louisiana Is VERY Special To Laine Hardy
In just a few months since winning American Idol, Laine Hardy's life has gone through a MAJOR change. Lots of professional singing. Playing guitar. Collaborating. And writing. He's told us about a new album in the works. All of that has taken up a lot of his time. But not all of it.
As I watched this new video, something dawned on me. In my many years of watching American Idol, I remembered some contestants talk about how they wanted to win the show, so they could escape from the place from which they came. Those young people had a goal to win, so they could get away from home. Not Laine. Not even close. It's clear NO new-found fame is taking any of South Louisiana away from this guy's soul. Ain't happening.
He says, "there is no place I'd rather be than Louisiana." Translation: Laine Hardy will always stay true to where home really is. His family and friends. They matter. So do the life lessons and values he learned while he was growing up here.
Today, the bayou stars are in alignment for Laine to achieve superstar music status. Not just because of his amazing talent, but because of where he came from. Storm or no storm.
