Everyone around here knows how busy a Chick Fil-A drive-thru can be. Employees work at lightening speed to get you that sandwich and (my favorite) waffle fries; all done with a smile, and a famous "my pleasure." Well, THIS teen worker took that customer care focus to a whole new level.
Team member Logan Simmons looked out in the line of cars and noticed a 6 year-old choking in the back seat. As the mom was screaming out for help. Logan leaped into action--literally; jumping out the drive-thru window, and into the car line to save the day. With his pocket knife, he cut through the belt that was strangling the little boy. Logan's mom Teri told WSB-TV, "He'd been home for a couple of hours (after his shift) and said nonchalantly, ‘I saved a kid’s life today,’ and I was like ‘What?"
This amazing surveillance video provided by Chick Fil-A that shows Logan did not hesitate.
