PODCAST: Really WEIRD And RANDOM Job Interview Questions You Might Hear
Before you squirm uncomfortable out of your chair, you need to understand that these strange and random job interview questions are part of the game. Some are difficult. Others might be terrifying. They are supposed to be peeks into your character, critical thinking and how you quickly your respond. Some questions can push the envelope of being inappropriate. Ninety percent of the time, the interviewer actually enjoys making you uncomfortable. Some of these are so hilarious you really want to answer honestly, but then you're fearful that you might laugh in their face. They're looking for that too.
For this podcast today, I'm being assisted by our Commercial Production And Creative Services Director MJ, and our Regional Financial Officer Chuck to tell of our experiences, and analyze some of the other crazy ones we found from some of the large corporations-like Amazon, Apple and Google. Enjoy--and learn. Just a few highlights--
FACEBOOK: “25 racehorses, no stopwatch. 5 tracks. Figure out the top three fastest horses in the fewest number of races.” I would enlist the unauthorized data on FB users who are mathematicians and ask them in messenger.
GOOGLE: “Why are man hole covers round?”
APPLE:“If you were a pizza delivery man, how would you benefit from scissors?”
AMAZON “How would you solve problems if you were from Mars?”
MICROSOFT: “How would you test an elevator?”
UBER: “How would you find the words that became obsolete in English language between 16th and 17th century? You may use a search engine.”
MASTERCARD “Can you say ‘Peter Pepper Picked a Pickled Pepper’ and cross-sell a washing machine at the same time?”
