American Idol AND The Voice Winners From Louisiana? It's About To Happen.

If you're one who does not believe miracles or destiny, hold up. You may want to think again. The first piece of evidence was found last night in the with Laine Hardy. Unless you were placed in solitary confinement and totally unplugged from the world, you already know about this young man from Livingston winning it all on American Idol last night. It was a moment in time that all of us in South Louisiana will cherish and never forget. But that huge win is just part one of a rather remarkable singing show story for our state.

OK, here's part two: Gyth Rigdon on The Voice. The singer from Singer, LA was considered by many to be a long shot at the beginning. Not anymore. Gyth made The Voice Top 4 last Monday. He got there by crushing his performance of God Bless The U.S.A. Tonight, Gyth can move from the Top 4 performance show to the winner's circle tomorrow night.

Some entertainment experts said a few weeks ago it would be a miracle that BOTH young men from South Louisiana would win BOTH shows. Well, the first part has been completed with Laine Hardy becoming the new American Idol. It could never happen? NEVER ever say never. Right now, I think I see destiny hanging out backstage ready to make an appearance on The Voice. It's already happened on American Idol. Now, it's Gyth's turn. He can give us a bayou clean sweep tomorrow night.
