Laine Is READY To Rock For Woodstock Night on Idol Sunday Night!

As you might have heard last week, concert organizers of Woodstock 50 were forced to cancel the 50th anniversary commemoration concert in August. Then yesterday, one of the co-founders countered by saying the show will go on. Most music industry leaders say that show is likely not to happen. Lot of uncertainty around this.

One thing IS certain: Woodstock WILL live once again Sunday Night on American Idol. And Livingston's Laine Hardy will be right in the middle of it. Our South Louisiana star is one of the Idol Top 6 finalists who will perform songs from the first Woodstock Music Festival way back in 1969. Talk about raw and real rock music that Laine can CRUSH. Remember his performance of the Beatles' Come Together?

Laine Hardy is capturing a LOT of attention, and not just around here. Yesterday, Patrick Ryan from USA Today said, "Laine has all the makings of an Idol champion, with devilish good looks that earn him votes from younger female fans and a throwback singing style that appeals to older, more conservative viewers." Even with that, Ryan went on to predict that Laine's buddy-Alejandro Aranda-will be the American Idol champion. (Click here for the article) We think other wise, and here's yet another reason why.

I already know there's another ace up Laine's sleeve. That happened when the show announced this week's mentor is Christian pop star Lauren Daigle from Lafayette. Both of these two speak fluent Bayou. Advantage-Laine. The "Party With A Hardy" will go on! Cannot WAIT!

VOTE-VOTE-VOTE! Up to TEN votes on EACH of Idol's 3 platforms. TEXT-"1" to 215-23. THEN Vote on AmericanIdol.com, and finally vote on the American Idol app. That's thirty votes per person. Remember - just like last week - the votes will be counted in real time, so be sure to watch live on ABC Channel 2 at 7pm. GEAUX LAINE!
