Dwayne Johnson Could Star In ‘Fast and the Furious’ Spinoff

The Fast and the Furious may be getting a spinoff movie for 1 reason:   We can’t get enough of Dwayne Johnson.

According to the outlet, the idea for a spinoff featuring Johnson has been thrown around since his character, Hobbs, entered the franchise in 2011’s Fast Five, though plans are still in preliminary stages and a script has yet to be written.

The 44-year-old actor is being eyed for a spinoff film alongside Jason Statham and Charlize Theron, Variety reports.

The film would reportedly revolve around Hobbs and Statham’s Deckard Shaw going after the newest villain to the franchise, Theron’s Cipher, and be written by series architect, Chris Morgan.
