On this day in history (38 years ago!!!), a brain, a beauty, a jock, a rebel and a recluse all had detention together ... and none of us has been the same since.
It was one of the John Hughes brat pack movies, starring Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy and Anthony Michael Hall. And everyone who's ever walked the halls of a high school could see themselves in one of them.
The movie came out in 1985, but today is celebrated as Breakfast Club Day because their detention was March 24, 1984.
