Did the kids get a smart phone for Christmas?

New research has shown children spend twice as much time on smartphones than they ever did in front of the TV. Lower cognitive skills were found among kids who use screens more than two hours a day. 

Blue light from screens also tricks the brain into thinking it's daytime meaning we don't produce enough melatonin to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. 

Psychologist recommend we set down some ground rules with the kids and their phones: Keep the phones out of their bedrooms and limit use of them to two hours a day!
