Love all the things your phone helps you to do but how much more could be done with the money you save if you don't have that phone and apps?!?
They calculated the cost of owning a smartphone over a lifetime. Then added the money spent on frequently replacing your phone for upgrades, the cost of wireless service and the cost of apps … that comes in at around $75,000.
If we were to put that money into an investment account that earns only 4% ROI, we’d have $300,000. So a nice house or the ability to snap highly filtered pictures and play Candy Crush, fair trade?
