Well this might put a little joy into cleaning the cane burn nearly twice the amount of calories than running a 5k!

The Good Housekeeping Institute did a study where they found that mopping, scrubbing, dusting and serious house cleaning is a rather effective way to burn calories. The chore with the most bang-for-the-buck is window cleaning. Participants burned an average of 115 calories in just 20 minutes of window cleaning. Their study results showed, on average, people burn of 600 calories doing two hours of intense household chores. That is nearly double the 374 calories burned during an average 5km run. What’s more, you have a beautifully clean house to enjoy when you are done!
