The Key to Liking Your Job More


We can't always pick who we work with but we can change the way we treat our co-workers. Considering how much time we spend with them, this may be an experiment worth looking into. 

A study found the key to liking your co-workers is fairly simple: Be nice to them rather than just tolerating them.

In the study, for one month, they secretly had 19, of 88 participants at an office, each perform 10 acts of kindness for various co-workers. Nothing big, just simple thank you emails for doing their job so well or delivering coffee. After a month of doing this all of the employees reported feeling better about their job and their co-workers. That good feeling even lingered for another month. Meaning perhaps if you wanted to try this at your place of work you would only have to do it every other month!?!
