-Usually sunscreens last about a year. So leftovers from last year aren’t worth the risk. Toss them out.

-Texture change also indicates an out of date sunscreen.
-Has it got a strange odor? It’s may have picked up bacteria or fungi; again time to toss.
-Does it irritate your skin, even if it is only a small area? Time to toss the sunscreen!
