Signs Your Sunscreen No Longer Works

One of the most important things we put on may not be any good if it’s gone bad. Here are some signs…

-Usually sunscreens last about a year. So leftovers from last year aren’t worth the risk. Toss them out.

-If it starts to separate (extra clear oil) it is time to toss

-Texture change also indicates an out of date sunscreen.

-Has it got a strange odor? It’s may have picked up bacteria or fungi; again time to toss.

-Does it irritate your skin, even if it is only a small area? Time to toss the sunscreen!
