STUDENTS can improve their performance in exams by using the smell of rosemary. A study showed students working in a room smelling of rosemary oil achieved up to seven per cent better results in memory tests. Shakespeare had a character in Hamlet mention it, “There's rosemary, that's for remembrance.” It goes back even farther as the ancient Greeks wore wreaths of it around their heads to improve mental skills. May have to pack a sash of it in the kids backpacks or perhaps give their teach a rosemary plant!
