Wake in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep? Various things can be waking, could be low magnesium levels, check with your doctor on that one. You might also try exercising in the morning, tires you out more in the evening. Avoid caffeine after 3 and alcohol too! A big one is to get all the gadgets out of the bedroom, the blue light from phones etc. mess with your sleep hormones.
Change your thermostat by one degree to make sure the air turning on or off isn’t waking you when you are in a light sleep pattern. But what is keeping you awake is probably stress. Even if you don’t actively feel stressed when it’s time to sleep, underlying stress may be the reason you’re waking up unprompted in the middle of the night. One thing that helps with this is journaling. Putting your problems down on paper helps to get them out of your head!
