1 lb ground beef (I used ground turkey)
6 slices bacon
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp mustard
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups cheese (I used Cheddar)
Preheat oven to 400. In a large skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat. In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy (I like to cook my bacon in the oven or toaster oven at 400 degrees for 12 minutes and then flip and cook until desired doneness). Remove from skillet and chop.
Lightly spray a 9-inch pie plate with cooking spray. Combine hamburger, bacon, ketchup and mustard. Put into pie plate and top with cheese. Whisk together Bisquick, eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over meat/cheese mixture.
Bake for 30 minutes. Top with favorite hamburger toppings.
**Producer Emilie’s additions: I will add sauteed mushrooms and onions along with pickle relish to the meat mixture! And I seasoned my meat while it was browning in the pan.
