Antibacterial Soap Ingredient Banned in Minnesota

ANTIBACTERIAL INGREDIENT BANNED IN MINNESOTA: Antibacterial soap has been banned in the state of Minnesota for being too dangerous.  Governor Mark Dayton signed a measure banning the antibacterial chemical triclosan from all products sold in the state. Some studies have shown that the chemical causes hormonal imbalance in animals and there is also concern that the use of triclosan is contributing to the rise of deadly antibiotic-resistant superbugs. The law will take effect in 2017.  (Yahoo!)
